About Drum Unite Founder

Joseph Atsu Yao Dagadu is a master drummer, facilitator, dancer, and musician from Ghana. He has extensive experience in African drumming, having been part of the Ghana National Youth Dance Company, where he was later promoted to Chief Drummer. He has performed in various countries, including Togo, Benin, Germany, China, Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, and more. His performances have been witnessed by dignitaries such as Bill Clinton, Queen Elizabeth, and Tony Blair.

With years of expertise, Atsu has collaborated with internationally renowned musicians and continues to teach and perform across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. His philosophy is deeply rooted in the Ewe cultural traditions, where drumming is an ancestral inheritance and a means of social unity.
